Several of Putnam County's most noted tourist
attraction are located on Route 301 in Kent. The
Chuang Yen Monastery is operated by the Buddhist Association of the United States. It is home to the largest statue of Buddha in the Western Hemisphere. Also located along Route 301 is Fahnestock State Park "The Four Season Park" and Putnam County Veteran"s Memorial Park, off of Gipsy Trail Rd.
